Abstract
The Global Cosmic Ray Observatory (GCOS) is a concept for a ground-based detector to measure
the properties of the highest-energy particles in the Universe with unprecedented precision after
the year 2035. We present the strawman/baseline design of GCOS, as developed during the 3rd
GCOS workshop in 2023.
