Abstract
We introduce a QCD coupling redefinition which has a simple scheme transformation. As an application, we discuss possible improvements on perturbative predictions of QCD physical quantities. In particular, we focus our attention to the Adler function, which is relevant for the extraction of αs from tau decays.
