Abstract
Up to now, much progress in the studies of the purely leptonic decays $D^+_{(s)}\to \ell^+\nu_\ell$ ($\ell=e$, $\mu$ or $\tau$) has been
reached in various experiments. This proceeding overviews the experimental studies of $D^+_{(s)}\to \ell^+\nu_\ell$ at the CLEO-c, Belle, BaBar and BESIII experiments in recent ten years.
