Retrieving the optical potential from lattice simulations

Abstract
We propose a method for the direct extraction of the complex hadron-hadron optical potential on the lattice, which does not require the use of the multi-channel Luscher formalism and can be applied to systems with three and more particles. The method is tested on a set of realistic synthetic data for a two channel problem.
